At the disapproval of Sen. John McCain, Sen. Al Franken cut Sen. Joe Lieberman short denying his request for additional floor time at a Senate hearing today.
To quote my racially confused cousin: Oh snap son! Oh snap!
Expect to see more of this in the coming months as tensions seem to be at a recent high on the Senate floor as of late. Pressure is on the Democrats to produce a bill by the coming holidays but this is becoming more and more of an unlikely prospect. Unlike during their weak primary performance the GOP has united on something and are hard at work stalling the health care reform process.

Sen. John Thune [R] seemed flustered during a recent back and forth exchange with Sen. Al Franken [D] regarding health care legislation. Senator Franken obviously isn’t shy about throwing his weight around during his rookie year.
“We are entitled to our own opinions. We’re not entitled to our own facts,” Franken told the fourth-highest ranking GOP senator.
