A Chick-fil-a CEO’s recent support of so called “traditional marriage” has spurred controversy and a barrage of both outrage and support from gay marriage advocates and even inspired buttered chicken lovers to dedicate a day of support to the chain:

This begs the obvious question: “Why?” Well, the announcement followed an interview with a Christian publication in which the question was brought up. This was probably asked because of an activist movement by gay marriage advocates, on the internet and elsewhere, in which contributions and support by Chick-fil-a towards so-called “traditional marriage” non-profits are brought to attention of consumers.
